She makes really awesome bibs, onesies and t-shirts. REALLY awesome.
I met her about a year and a half ago and I’m still kicking myself that Davs was already hating bibs and taking off onesies.
I’ve secretly thought of stuffing him in one of her adorable shirts…
She asked me recently to do a product shoot for her, here’s the sneak

I did several super fun “stylized” sessions for the baby & child contest.
By stylized, I mean that they had a theme. We had an idea in mind and styled it.
This theme was not my own, it came from mom. Who is, obviously, a genius because Little K LOVES to cook.

We all make mistakes, I make a lot of them.
The reason I say (over and over again) how much I love my clients is because they understand.
Most of them are moms…
and none of them hold my right brained shenanigans against me.
So I got a bunch of entries together for the Miller’s Lab Baby & Child contest
I didn’t read the fine print (really I think they weren’t very clear)
and I told all the wonderful mommies they could vote for their kiddos. Obviously, they can’t.

There is absolutely nothing better than a #beloved session.
They make me so happy to shoot and even happier to edit.
And to be honest, my husband likes me much more after I’ve photographed one…because I cherish the time we have together more.

A lot of people have no idea what lifestyle is…
So I thought I’d take a second to show some fun with the blended L & F Families as well as explain a little about lifestyle.
Lifestyle doesn't throw traditional posing out the window all the time, a group this large can't always act natural and get a good family portrait. But with the creative grouping of the family you can still achieve a modern feel.
Lifestyle is ALWAYS letting families play and be themselves. Does this scream two boys or what?!
Lifestyle is being okay with acting silly. This family is great at silly. One of the biggest reasons I love em!
Lifestyle is just stepping back and letting it happen- I love seeing relationships and you can tell how much Uncle & Daddy are loved!
Lifestyle is also knowing when to admit defeat. Kiddos were done...Gma should have been first!
Above all, Lifestyle is letting people be themselves. Kids are wonderful at this.
A lifestyle session is natural & fun.
It can be in your home, outdoors, at a unique location or even *gasp* in a studio! It’s not about the location, it’s about the feeling.
A lifestyle sessions means never having to say cheese!
Ok, I lied. That first photo was all about the cheese(burgers).
Lifestyle is an idea, a movement. Capture people as they are and document WHO they are not just what they look like.

In past years, I’ve done Mother’s Day “Mini Sessions” where I take clients to the park and let them play with their kiddos.
This year, instead of scheduling sessions- I gave them away.
99% of the time, it’s the mother I work with from start to finish during photo related matters.
I get to know them the most and I grow to love their children.
Thank you to all of the wonderful mothers who have supported me.
It is because of you that I have created this business of love.
