Welcome, I’m so glad you are here.
I’m just a photog with a vision and a passion-
capturing new life and childhood for the way it should be seen, naturally.
We all have those days where things go wrong; our kids act up, our husband doesn’t take the garbage out, we burn our favorite meal. A mentor of mine once told me, “how differently we would treat our loved ones if we knew exactly how many more moments we would have with them”. My love for the art of photography is simply to capture those moments and remind those around me how precious and fleeting they truly are.
A few random facts about me
1. My biggest fan loves cookies and coloring outside the lines
2. I am a consumer of Lifestyle Photography and my family and I are in front of the camera often
3. I view my camera as a tool to create art and my clients are my muse
4. I could eat sushi every day for the rest of my life
5. I believe in allowing real moments to happen and then capturing them, instead of attempting to create them
6. I blame my lack of business sense on the phenomenon commonly referred to as “mommy brain”
7. Although 1200 calories seems manageable, I frequently have dietantrums.
8. My full name is Dominique but I answer to “Dee”, “Mommy” and occasionally “Hey you, with the camera”
9. Although I find it scary to say no, I am always the most authentic I can be
10. At some point, all of my clients become friends.
